Searching for quality courses
There are so many B grade, poorly designed and delivered online courses out there. They seem to be marketed to sell purely on the fact that it is 'e-learning' rather then a well designed and learner oriented alternative training delivery method.
Many of the current online courses have just transformed the page in a book to a page on screen without incorporating any real multimedia, instructional design, support or enhancement techniques. This generally results in the learner increasingly loosing interest and becoming bored and disillusioned with the lesson or training, and this result not only short changes the true meaning and nature of elearning, but also the very reputation and public perspective of elearning, especially it's professional recognition and support. Resulting in a public misinterpretation and disinterest in elearning.
